Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 25 September 2026

Introduction

These Terms apply to everything you buy, claim or donate on Visitventure. They cover events held on set dates, such as conventions, festivals and shows, with a ticket sale window the seller may pause, and always-open venues, such as zoos, museums, aquariums and parks, run to the seller's operating hours. Please read them before you pay.

In these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"), "Visitventure", "we", "us" and "our" mean Visitventure; "you" means the person buying, claiming or donating; "attendee" means anyone who uses a ticket or pass you bought, claimed or shared; "event" includes a visit to a venue on a booked date or time slot; and "the seller" and "venue owner" are defined in section 2.2.

1. Agreeing to These Terms

1.1. How You Agree

At checkout, the box "I agree to the Terms and Conditions" must be ticked before you can pay. By completing your purchase with the box ticked, you agree to these Terms, and we record your acceptance on your account, or on your guest account if you check out as a guest. If the box is already ticked from an earlier purchase in the same browser, completing your purchase still means you agree to the current version of these Terms. By claiming a free ticket, you agree to these Terms, which are published at /terms-and-conditions. If you do not agree, do not buy, claim or donate.

1.2. Other Documents That Apply

Use of the website in general is covered by our User Agreement (/user-agreement). Our Privacy Policy (/privacy-policy) and Copyright Policy (/copyright-policy) also apply. If a seller's policy conflicts with these Terms, these Terms prevail, unless these Terms say the seller's policy applies or the policy gives you extra rights (see section 2.3).

1.3. Buying for Others

If you buy for others, you are responsible for telling them about these Terms, the seller's policy and any waiver they must sign.

2. Who You Are Buying From

2.1. Visitventure Is a Marketplace

Visitventure is a marketplace and technology provider. We run the website, cart, checkout, ticket delivery, QR check-in tools and customer support, but not the events or venues listed here.

2.2. The Seller

"The seller" means the organizer, venue operator or partner vendor named on the listing. Sellers are independent businesses; partner vendors sell add-ons at an organizer's event or venue and charge you for their own items. If an event takes place at premises run by someone other than the seller, we call that person the "venue owner". The seller, not Visitventure, is solely responsible for the event, venue or experience itself, including its operation, schedule, safety and accessibility, and the accuracy of the information it provides for the listing. Your contract for each item is with the seller of that item.

2.3. Seller Policies

The organizer or venue operator may publish a policy and FAQs on the event or venue page under "FAQ and Policies", then "View Organizer Policy", covering things like age limits, ID and guardian rules, bag checks, re-entry, photography, animals, parking, accessibility and weather. That link is shown even when no policy has been published; if the page is empty, the seller has not published one. Partner vendors do not publish a separate policy: items sold by a partner vendor follow these Terms and the policy of the organizer or venue operator whose event or venue page lists them. In these Terms, "the seller's policy" means the policy that applies to an item in this way. Read it before you buy, because it is not repeated at checkout; by buying, you agree to follow it. Extra rights in a seller's policy are provided by that seller alone and do not increase Visitventure's obligations. Where no policy has been published, these Terms apply, and the rules posted at the event or venue apply to your visit. If you cannot find an answer, ask the seller or us before you buy.

3. What You Are Buying

Tickets come in tiers, such as General, VIP or Child. Some tiers have their own sale windows, and some require you to choose a visit date and time slot; slots have limited capacity.

Add-ons and experiences are extras such as merchandise, workshops, tours, encounters or parking, sold by the organizer or a partner vendor. Some have their own booking dates and times.

Bundles are several items sold together at one price, which may be discounted. You choose dates and time slots for bundled items when you buy, then receive each item as its own ticket or claim; the bundle itself cannot be scanned.

Memberships give access or benefits for a set period, for example a month or a year. Some can be bought as a recurring subscription (see section 10).

Donations are made to the seller, once or as a recurring pledge, and do not buy admission. Any Visitventure service charge shown at checkout applies to donations as it does to other items (see section 4.2). Refunds of donations and pledge payments are up to the seller. The seller alone is responsible for how donations are used and for any receipts or tax treatment.

Free tickets are claimed straight into your account, with no payment, order code or e-mail, so they cannot be found through Find My Order. If you claim as a guest, your free tickets are kept only on a temporary guest account in this browser; if you sign out, clear your browser data or change device, they cannot be recovered. To keep them, verify your account or sign in from the same browser.

4. Prices, Fees and Taxes

4.1. Prices and Availability

Prices are in the seller's currency, which is shown at checkout, and cart prices do not include tax. Prices, availability, ticket tiers and booking calendars may change until your order is paid (see section 4.4 for pricing mistakes).

4.2. What You Pay

Before you pay, checkout shows the subtotal, discounts, any Visitventure service charge (shown as a line under "Surcharges"), taxes and the total including tax. The service charge covers Visitventure's platform fee and payment processing costs. Each seller's total, shown at that seller's payment step, is what that seller charges you (see section 6).

4.3. Coupon Codes

Coupon codes are issued by individual sellers and only discount that seller's items. Some items, including discounted bundles, are excluded.

4.4. Price Mistakes

If an item was listed at the wrong price, we or the seller will contact you. You can accept the correct price or cancel your order for a full refund; if you do not accept the correct price, your order will be cancelled and fully refunded.

5. Cart and Checkout

5.1. Your Cart Is Held for 15 Minutes

Adding an item to your cart does not guarantee it. Your cart is held for 15 minutes, counted from when your order with each seller was started (normally when you added its first item), not from your latest item; a countdown shows the time left. If you do not pay in time, the order expires and the items are released; if you leave the site, unpaid items are still released automatically soon after. If an item runs short, we reduce your cart to the quantity available and tell you. Items that are no longer on sale, or whose time slot has passed or filled up, may be removed from your cart.

5.2. Your Details

You must give an accurate name and e-mail address; your tickets are sent to that e-mail. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for tickets that fail to reach you because of incorrect details. A phone number is optional. Your order details, and any answers to attendee questions, are shared with the seller of each item, as described in our Privacy Policy (/privacy-policy).

5.3. Guest Checkout

You can check out as a guest, but some items, usually memberships, require a signed-in, verified account. If you check out or claim as a guest, your items are kept on a temporary guest account in this browser. If you sign out, clear your browser data or change device, you can reach your purchases only through your tickets e-mail and Find My Order (section 7.2), which let you view and download your passes but not share them or manage membership members, and free tickets claimed as a guest cannot be recovered. To keep full access, verify your account or sign in from the same browser, before or after you buy. Marketing e-mails are optional and separate from your purchase.

5.4. Attendee Questions

Some sellers ask questions about you or each attendee, before or after payment. Your answers must be accurate and go to the seller. If a question is marked as required before purchase, you must answer it before you can pay. Questions asked after payment appear on your order confirmation page right after checkout; please answer them there, and if you leave before answering, contact the seller. The seller may refuse entry if required information is missing.

5.5. Age to Buy

You must be legally able to enter into a contract where you live; otherwise, a parent or guardian must make the purchase.

6. Payment

6.1. One Charge per Seller

Your cart can hold items from several sellers, and each seller is paid separately, directly into its own payment account. Your items from each seller form a separate order with its own order code, shown on your confirmation page. You confirm one payment per seller, your statement shows one charge per seller, and each charge is in that seller's currency. Each charge may appear on your statement under the seller's name rather than Visitventure's, and if your card uses a different currency, your bank may convert the amount and charge its own fees. Find My Order, refunds and the liability limit in section 13 all apply per order, so a checkout with items from three sellers gives you three orders, three order codes and three charges, and any refunds are made separately for each order.

6.2. Payment Methods

Payments are processed by Stripe; cards and, where available, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link and similar methods are accepted. By confirming a payment, you authorize that seller to charge the amount shown. When you pay, your payment method is saved with Stripe on the seller's account, so the seller can bill any subscription or pledge you turn on. Visitventure only starts charges for purchases you confirm and for subscriptions or pledges you turned on; the seller is responsible for any other charge it makes to your saved payment method.

6.3. If a Payment Fails

If one seller's payment fails, you can try again. Sellers already paid stay paid, and unpaid items stay in your cart, but the 15-minute hold in section 5.1 still applies and they may be released if you do not pay in time.

7. Getting Your Purchases

7.1. Electronic Delivery Only

After you pay, your order may briefly show "Processing" while the payment is confirmed. Your purchases then appear on the Redeem page (/my-tickets). We also e-mail you a confirmation: for tickets it includes your entry QR code, and for other items it includes links to view and download your passes. At busy times the e-mail can take a few minutes; check your spam folder too. If you checked out as a guest, use Find My Order to get back to your passes. Nothing is sent by post: physical items such as merchandise are collected at the event or venue by showing your QR code, at the times the seller sets. The seller is responsible for the items it hands over; contact the seller about missing or faulty goods.

7.2. Find My Order

Keep your order code, shown on your confirmation page and in your e-mails. With it and your purchase e-mail, Find My Order (/find-order, also in the site menu) lets you view your passes, download them as a PDF or, for orders that include tickets, resend the tickets e-mail, including to a different address. If you have lost both the e-mail and your order code, contact support@visitventure.com. Free tickets have no order code and are only in your account (see section 3).

7.3. Keep Your Codes Private

Anyone with your order code and purchase e-mail can view and download your passes and have them e-mailed to another address, and whoever shows your QR code first may be let in. Keep them private. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for use of your passes by anyone who obtains them from you.

8. Using Your Tickets and Passes

8.1. QR Check-In

At the event or venue, you and your attendees show a QR code to be scanned for entry or to collect an add-on. Once scanned, a ticket cannot be used again unless the seller allows multiple check-ins, and scanning an add-on redeems its full quantity at once. A membership QR code can be scanned on each visit, within any usage limits (see section 10). The QR code in your tickets e-mail, and the QR code shown by the Redeem Tickets button on your Redeem page, cover all of your unused tickets for that event or venue at once. To check in only some tickets, open View Tickets on your Redeem page, select them and show Redeem Selected Tickets. If tickets are checked in by mistake, contact the seller or us.

8.2. Dates, Time Slots and Entry Windows

If you booked a date, you and your attendees must come on that date; if you booked a time slot, arrive within it. Some tickets only work on set days or hours, in the local time zone of the event or venue. A ticket with no booked date or entry window is valid as stated in the seller's policy; if the policy does not say, ask the seller before your visit. Tickets and add-ons may expire at the end of your booked time slot, a set time after purchase, a set time after they are first scanned, or, for events held on set dates, when the event ends. Expired tickets cannot be used and are not refunded unless the seller's policy or the law says otherwise.

8.3. Waivers

Some sellers require a signed waiver before entry or participation, and may refuse entry or participation without one. Every attendee must have their own signed waiver, including each person in a group. For a child, or anyone who cannot sign for themselves, a parent or guardian signs on their behalf where the seller's waiver allows it; the seller's policy may set further rules. If the seller has set up signing for your tickets, your tickets e-mail includes a signing link and a "waiver check" QR code that staff scan to confirm signatures; the seller may also provide a signing link or QR code, for example at the event or venue. You do not need to register to sign: if you are not signed in, you can continue as a guest and a guest session is created for you. People you share tickets with do not receive a signing link. The signing link in your e-mail contains your order code and e-mail address, which also give access to all your passes (section 7.3), so share it only with people you trust with your whole order, or ask the seller for a separate signing link or QR code for your attendees. Free-ticket claims come with no e-mail, so ask the seller for the signing link. The waiver is between the attendee and the seller; Visitventure only provides the signing tools.

8.4. Sharing and Resale

You can share a ticket or add-on once to another person's e-mail from your Redeem page; they get their own QR pass. Only tickets and add-ons can be shared: memberships use named members instead (see section 10), and a bundle is shared item by item. Sharing cannot be undone, and a ticket already shared or used cannot be shared again. After sharing, check in your remaining tickets with Redeem Selected Tickets (see section 8.1). You remain responsible for the recipient following these Terms and the seller's policy, and the seller may refuse entry otherwise. Any refund for a shared ticket goes to you, and a refunded ticket normally stops working even if you shared it (see section 9.3). Visitventure does not offer resale, the seller's policy may forbid it, and we are not responsible for tickets obtained from unauthorized third parties.

9. Refunds, Cancellations and Changes

9.1. Sales Are Final, With Exceptions

Sales are final, except in the cases below or where the law gives you a right to a refund. You can get a refund if:

  • the seller's own policy offers a refund (an exchange, if offered, is handled under that policy);
  • the seller cancels the event, closes the venue or cancels the time slot on the date you booked, or cancels an add-on, session or experience you bought even though the event or venue otherwise goes ahead, in which case you are entitled to a refund of the affected items from the seller of each item, including any partner vendor whose items were for that event or venue;
  • the seller moves the event, or your booked date or time slot, and you choose a refund instead of the new date or time; or
  • an item was listed at the wrong price and you cancel under section 4.4.

Refunds for a cancellation are issued order by order, so allow some time. For tickets without a booked date, what happens if a venue closes unexpectedly, for example for weather, or closes permanently, is set by the seller's policy. If a venue closes permanently or for an extended period, what happens to memberships already paid for is also set by the seller's policy; contact the seller or us.

9.2. Who Decides and How to Ask

Refunds are decided and issued by the seller. For items sold by an organizer or venue operator, Visitventure processes the refund the seller approves. For items sold by a partner vendor, the vendor issues any refund directly, and section 9.3 may not apply in full. In the cases listed in section 9.1, you are entitled to a refund from the seller; in every other case, the seller decides under the seller's policy (see section 2.3). There is no self-service refund button. Contact the seller using the support details on your order confirmation page or in Find My Order; if no seller contact is shown, or the item was sold by a partner vendor, e-mail support@visitventure.com with your order code and we will forward your request to the seller. If the seller does not deal with your request, contact us and we will take it up with the seller.

If your event, booked date or time slot is moved, tickets without a booked date normally stay valid for the new dates unless you ask the seller for a refund. Tickets booked for a specific date or time slot cannot be moved automatically; contact the seller, who may issue replacement tickets or refund you.

9.3. How You Are Refunded

Refunds go back to your original payment method. Timing depends on the payment provider and your bank; some refunds are queued and can take longer to process, so contact us if a refund has not arrived. For refunds processed through Visitventure, if your whole order is refunded in a single refund, the Visitventure service charge is refunded too; otherwise it is not. If only some items in a bundle are refunded, the seller decides the refund amount based on the bundle price, and it counts as a partial refund. When a refund is processed through Visitventure, the refunded tickets and add-ons, including any you have shared, are cancelled and can no longer be used.

9.4. When You Will Not Get a Refund

Unless the seller's policy or the law says otherwise, there is no refund if:

  • you or your attendees miss the date or time slot, do not show up, or arrive outside the ticket's entry window;
  • your ticket has expired;
  • you or your attendees are refused entry or removed for breaking the rules, or for not meeting requirements such as age, ID or a required waiver; or
  • you change your mind.

9.5. Contact Us Before Disputing a Charge

If a charge looks wrong, please contact the seller or us before disputing it with your bank. It is usually the fastest fix. If a dispute is decided in your favor, the order is cancelled and its tickets and passes stop working.

10. Memberships and Recurring Payments

Memberships cover the period shown when you buy, for example a month or a year, and some memberships and donations can also be bought as a recurring subscription or pledge. A period runs from purchase for its stated length; a month counts as 30 days and a year as 365 days. Benefits linked to a specific event end when that event ends. Your first payment is charged when you buy.

Recurring billing: if you turn on Subscribe for a membership or donation (on the item or in your cart), you authorize the seller, through our payment processor, to charge your saved payment method each interval until the subscription is cancelled. The next charge is made when your first period ends, and then every interval after that. If you leave Subscribe off, your membership lasts for the period you bought and then ends, and you are not charged again; to continue after it ends, buy the membership again.

Amount: each renewal is charged at the price per interval shown on the item when you subscribe (for example, a price shown "for 1 month" is charged again each month). Coupon discounts and the checkout service charge apply only to your first payment. Your Redeem page shows the membership's status and current period and, for a subscription, its billing interval and price.

Renewal charges: each renewal is charged in the seller's payment account. It has no order code, is not shown in Find My Order and can only be refunded by the seller directly; the refund process in sections 9.2 and 9.3 does not apply to it.

Cancelling: there is no self-service cancel button. To stop future renewals, e-mail support@visitventure.com or contact the seller with your order code, well before your next renewal date (the end of your current period, shown on your Redeem page). Cancellation is not instant, so allow time; a renewal charged before the cancellation takes effect can only be refunded by the seller directly. Cancelling stops future charges but does not refund the current period unless the seller's policy says so. After you cancel, you keep your membership benefits until the end of the period you have already paid for. Asking for a refund does not by itself cancel future renewals; ask us to cancel them as well.

Failed renewals: if a renewal payment fails, the charge may be retried automatically on your saved payment method, and your membership or pledge may become Past Due or Unpaid, may be paused or ended, and its benefits may be unavailable until payment is made.

Using a membership: membership benefits are used by scanning your membership QR code at the venue. Some memberships let you add a limited number of named members or guests under Manage on your Redeem page; they use the membership through your membership QR code, and the seller's policy says whether they may visit without you. Some memberships limit how many times benefits can be used; the limits are shown under Perks when you select Manage.

11. Rules, Safety and Conduct

You and your attendees must follow the seller's rules, the venue's rules and staff instructions. The seller, or the venue owner, may refuse entry to or remove anyone who breaks them; section 9.4 explains when there is no refund.

Some experiences, such as animal encounters, physical activities or rides, carry inherent risks. Those risks are governed by the seller's waiver and policy; Visitventure does not run these activities (see section 13).

12. Rewards

Where enabled, a purchase or check-in may earn optional promotional rewards, such as badges, digital collectibles or tokens. They have no cash value and may change or end at any time.

13. Our Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Visitventure is not responsible for the acts or omissions of sellers, venue owners, attendees or other third parties; our total liability to you for all claims relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and for all claims relating to a recurring charge, to the amount of that charge; and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for failures caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control. Nothing here removes rights that the law does not allow to be excluded.

14. Intellectual Property

Website content belongs to Visitventure or its licensors. Event and venue names, logos and images belong to the respective sellers or their licensors. Use of website content is governed by our User Agreement and Copyright Policy.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. Changes take effect when posted and apply to purchases made after that; making a purchase after a change means you accept the updated Terms. Orders placed earlier stay under the version you accepted.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any dispute about these Terms or a purchase under them is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in the United States. This does not take away any protection you have under the mandatory laws of the country where you live.

17. Contact Us

Questions about these Terms or your order? E-mail support@visitventure.com. For questions about the event or venue itself, contact the seller.

By completing your purchase, you agree to these Terms; the seller's policy, where one is published, also applies to your items as explained in section 2.3. Thank you for choosing Visitventure. We hope you have an enjoyable and memorable visit.
